Purgatorium is an underground rave series founded in Budapest in December 2024, built on the pillars of Love, Freedom, and Tolerance. More than just a party series, it is an immersive techno experience held under a strict no-photo and no-video policy, ensuring the rave unfolds undisturbed for everyone. Every event is built around a strong, unique concept — from dark, ritualistic nights to Halloween raves, prison-inspired 'Locked In' experiences with chains, or UV-drenched sensory overload. The experience goes beyond the music: live tattoos and free all-night massage are available on site.

Musically — bouncy, hardbounce, schranz, hard techno, hardgroove, industrial and trance. Initially, lineups were filled with domestic talent, but in 2026 the brand opened to international acts alongside strong local support. Purgatorium also actively champions up-and-coming DJs at the start of their careers, giving them a platform to grow. Long based exclusively in Budapest, from 2026 the experience travels to smaller cities too — Szeged, Pécs. "This Is Not a Party. This Is Purgatorium."
